In 2005 the Shipowning Division along with the partly owned Copenhagen Tankers was sold to the Clipper Group and at the same time a management buy-out was effected in Wonsild and Søn.
The Shipowning Division is today a cornerstone in Nordic Tankers A/S
The Ship Broking activities under Wonsild & Søn relocated from the office building in Nyhavn and are now carried out from a contemporary office the Freeport of Copenhagen.
Shortly thereafter the “Søn” was erased from the company name which is today simply known as Wonsild.
In August 2005 an office was opened in Melbourne under the name Wonsild Pte Ltd Australia which quickly cemented the Wonsild name in the Pacific even further.
By 2008 due to the increasing activity in China and the neighboring countries Wonsild established Wonsild Hong Kong Ltd. The office has today a strong foothold in the Chinese market complementing the 24/7 service that Wonsild offers to its customers.
